Nomination Process

Any current Sigma Squared fellow can nominate another person for the next application cycle.

1. A Typeform is available that you can fill out to nominate another person
2. Both you and the nominee will receive a confirmation email
3. The nominee will be sent a different form to fill out their official application

How to Scout

Scouting new Fellows is a permanently ongoing process. Make sure you and the fellows in your chapter are familiar with the benefits of Sigma Squared. Meet with as many potential fellows through your network and the network of peers as possible. Encourage your fellows to do the same.

Before nominating someone, please make sure that:

• They are well aligned with Sigma Squared Values: Kindness, humility, curiosity and a forward giving attitude.
• They are currently building something impressive and impactful, be it a startup, a movement or another organization.
• They are below 26 when they would join Sigma Squared.
• They are proficient enough in the English language to have a meaningful conversation with other community members.

<aside> 🗨️ Cold nominations are strongly discouraged. Please make sure that you have talked about and explained Sigma Squared to your Nominee before nominating them. It is important that Nominees know what to expect from the fellowship. Quality goes over quantity.
